IISD is dedicated to the growth of small business and micro-enterprises for creating the income eneration opportunities for nderprivileged community eoples. IISD has been pearheading entrepreneurship development movement throughout the state of Madhya Pradesh with a belief that entrepreneurs need not necessarily be born but can be identified and promoted.
Our Vision
To Develop among youth, qualities like leadership, entrepreneurship and service to the community and inspire them to reach higher levels of accomplishment.
Management
The Indian Institute of Social Development is managed by an Executive Committee consisting of eminent personalities. Renowned scientists and Ex. Chairman, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) New Delhi, Dr. M.L. Shahare remained Chairman of the Institute for more than 10 years. At present Dr. Balwansing, Ex. Additional Commissioner, Tribal Development, M.P. is the Chief Patron of the organisation. Prof. Ramneek Kapoor, renowned Professor of Business Management is the Chairman and Dr. Om Prakash Dave is an Executive Director of IISD.
Infrastructure Facilities
The Institute has excellent building around 5000 square feet construction area with well-equipped Office, Training rooms, Library, Staff Room, Counselor room, Conference room, Parking facilities and all other modern infrastructural facilities. IISD’s office is located in the prime location of village Nipania just opposite to world-famous ISKCON temple and near SICA College Indore.

Geographical Area Of Operation
Presently IISD is functioning in 18 districts such as Indore (02) Dhar (03) Jhabua (04) Alirajpur (05) Khargone (06) Barwani (07) Khandwa (08) Burhanpur (09) Harda (10) Ratlam (11) Neemuch (12) Mandsaur (13) Shajapur (14) Dewas (15) Ujjain (16) Sehore (17) Rajgargh (18) Bhopal of the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Fields Linkages
The IISD has excellent field-level coordination with NABARD, District Offices, Regional Rural Banks, District Lead Banks, Commercial Banks, District/Tehsil/Block levels departments of Government of Madhya Pradesh, Educational institutions, District Panchayat, Janpad and local bodies, Non-government/Voluntary organizations etc. Besides 7500 trained entrepreneurs are always associated as volunteers with the IISD in any project implementation in the 17 districts of Madhya Pradesh.
Trained Staff
The IISD has qualified, experienced, trained and dedicated faculties for effective implementation of Programmes and further providing effective post programme follow-up and monitoring services to participants with missionary zeal. The Staff members of IISD are trained from reputed organizations like BIRD, Lucknow, EDII, Ahmedabad, SAP-India, New Delhi, NISEIT, Hyderabad, International Youth centre, New Delhi etc.
Best Performing NGO Declared by NABARD
In view of excellent performance in 30 years association, NABARD has awarded IISD the best performing NGO in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
